Boudoir FAQs

How far in advance should I book my session?
Depending on your chosen package, I recommend to schedule your shoot for about 1-2 months prior to needing the finished product in-hand. Being a one-woman show, I tend to book up quite quickly, especially for weekend sessions. In saying that, I have the occasional cancellation so last minute bookings are welcome when available also.

Where are the photo shoots held?
Where your photo shoot takes place is based upon your individual needs. There is the option to use one of my two small private home studio locations in Adelaide's western suburbs. Most of the images found on my Boudoir Gallery page are shot in one of these locations. Alternatively there is the option to shoot at a location of your choice, for example a hotel room or in the comfort of your own home. A lot of clients are surprised at what can be created in their own homes or a simple hotel room!
Some on location requests may incur and additional fee depending on travel time and distance from Adelaide's CDB.

What should I bring to my shoot?
Please bring along a selection of clothing, lingerie, shoes, accessories and/or props that you think might suit the style of shoot that you are after. We can then go through it all on the day and see what will work best for each set. I’d rather you bring too much than not enough. It is recommended that you bring a minimum of two different looks/outfits for the Basic and Gold Packages and a minimum of three for the Platinum and Album Packages.

Do you provide any lingerie/outfits for Boudoir shoots?
I do have a small selection of outfits, accessories & props available for client use in the studio however I suggest to bring along a selection of your own just in case what is available doesn't fit or suit your individual taste and style.

Will you post my photos online?
I will never use client images online without their consent.

Will you help me with how to pose?
Definitely! I will guide you throughout your entire session to ensure we get the most figure-flattering angles and poses that best suit you and your style. Bringing along a selection of your favourite Boudoir inspiration images will help with some ideas of how to pose also.

I have cellulite/stretch marks/tattoos I would like removed. Can you get rid of that in post processing?
The removal of acne, acne scarring, stretchmarks, and cellulite is part of the retouching process. During your image viewing we will discuss your preferences in the level of retouching you would like.

Can I bring a friend to the shoot?

Generally my preference is to work one on one with my clients, simply because sometimes having an ‘audience’ can make you feel more self conscious. However if you would like to bring someone along please just let me know prior to your shoot.

I've done my shoot. It was AWESOME! What happens next?
After your shoot we will arrange a time for you to come in for a viewing and select your favourite images to be retouched. There is the option to purchase additional edited images on top of your chosen package during this viewing if required.

How long before I get my photos?
The editing process takes approximately 2-4 weeks from the time of your image selection viewing. If you have chosen the Album Package, this will take an additional 2 weeks on top of the editing time to allow for printing.  I do all of the editing myself, I do not outsource my editing work as to maintain the standard and quality of work.
